on my way to ATL to supervise creative aspect of GSS edit session.
KAPSIBAC.com: I successfully moved it to new web host. Collaborated with Marc Stricklin [of Brittle Bones fame] to design a splash page. Official relaunch set for early 2004. Got a ton of solicits coming in, help wanted!
GreekStepShows.com is about to go on hiatus, due to the Holidays and the important fact that we have a backlog of shows to edit and release. The website is undergoing a total revamp. We plan to have a staff retreat around the New Year [or before] and we'll be back with a vengeance in '04! ** ariestwb.com is back-burnered [just as well, it's allowing me time to redesign while busy elsewhere]. * kapsibac.com is being redesigned. ** Sixth Avenue Baptist Church needs a logo for its credit union, and the church itself has issued an RFP for it's website redesign. * SilverStone needs a brand identity Stay tuned!
REACH 2010 component of Mineral District site needs to come off back burner.
BAC is antsy about new pictures on website [not enough hours in the day, but I'll work on that, along with renewing URL registration, moving to new hosting company]. My own website is still awaiting my skills [new version].
Birmingham Chapter of TSU National Alumni will host national convention next year. I have been asked to design logo [I recommended total branding campaign to include website redesign].
4 Winds and I discussed an After-Effects/Media 100 tutorial, but it has not materialized. I studied an online Final Cut Pro tutorial, looks simple.
1. Verbal agreement to film TSU Homecoming Stepshow [GSS] 2. AutoEffectz site design 3. GSS ongoing 4. Alabama Business a no-go.
WHAT'S NEW: 1. Concepting a site for 'AutoEffetz', a custom shop. 2. 'Business Alabama with Sheila Smoot' has approached us for a graphics package [I plan to work with Krio FilmWorks to produce]. 3. The other projects are, believe it or not, still in the mix. Time to recruit some help.
1. the new greekstepshows.com is now 'live'. 2. the MDMS book is on its way to the printer. 3. ManorateK teleconference is tomorrow. 4. 3 new projects have come my way this week. That's good news.
GreekStepShows.com: I spent my Labor Day weekend putting finishing touches on version 1 of the official site [re-launch]. I am about set to launch it today. Of course it won't be offical until we announce the dvd and launch party. Anyway, the new site has a message board, state-by-state event listing, email subscriber link, image gallery, and improved navigation.
Added improved gallery to GreekStepShows.com, along with message board. ManorateK is on track to meet next week, Magic City Classic, if I get my wish, will be a true creative, commercial endeavor. I will add a new feature to bama-aaaa.com.
STATUS REPORT: Manora Teknologies interactive project is progressing we have brought focus to positioning and creative. Mineral District directory is mostly done, some content still not delivered. Ariestwb.com is in evolution mode. Kriofilmworks is further down the list but in the works www.greekstepshows.com is now in post production with dvd release pending [more on that later!].
BAA [Birmingham Art Association] just added our link. http://birminghamartassociation.com/links.html
Mineral District needs my help. Their latest directory is in meltdown, and ariestwb.com has been called in to help.
Very Cool! The British design/creativity site, twohundredby200.co.uk, added my link today 26JUN03.
• Met with and agreed to consult with Manora TeKnologies on their website. • bama-aaaa.com is getting a lot of traffic and still developing. • Got an exciting concept for UpBd. Summer 2003 is going to go by quickly…
Must be living right. http://www.ariestwb.com once again has a Google listing.
I am working on adding client-side content managemant capability to bama-aaaa.com by week's end. When I last spoke with client I was talking her through installing a message board, submiting the URL to search engines, and recommended that she wait a 'suitable' interval before announcing updates and/or improvements.
UA AAA is officially hosted at http://www.bama-aaaa.com/, I wish them well. I have a new subdomain for the Sword, I am designing a magazine from the ground upÖ My own site update [ariestwb.com] needs to come off that back-burnerÖ
Will at last add image gallery to mdms site [now that they have finally gotten them to me].
CTS goes to printer tomorrow. mineraldistrict.com update is live. UA Black alumni association requested a website, is nearing completion.
added a couple of new logos to my site [ariestwb.com]; CTS finalists [logo selected!]; just got request to begin work on Krio Films identity. Saw the new o2 ideas [www.o2ideas.com] site, looks cool, efficient.
new work on Computer Technology Solutions, L.L.C. [CTS], Pan Hel demo, Minerdistrict update is live, lacking only an upcoming image gallery [awaiting digital pics]. Good Friday.
http://www.mineraldistrict.com/ update is nearly done. I have talked to past president Berry and he agrees that a new blog would be an ideal way of rounding out the community bbs aspect of the site. Will work on that within the next '24'. I've added a couple of new client logos to http://www.ariestwb.com/ ['cannon construction' and 'hawthorne groves']. Got a couple of potential projects in the works and continue to braistorm the http://www.babj.info/ update.
Let's see, what's new: collaborated with marc stricklin of brittle bones fame, and juiced up my intro movie with new sound & speed; got a couple of new web projects; Still finding time for my own site…
Exxxxxxcellent!!! Just added 5 QuickTime movies for motion gfx samples. Official Launch is very soon.
Now, I've re-edited the captions in the portfolio section, they need one more good proofing but they are much improved. Oh, and I re-wrote the description and keywords, must copy that change to rest of site. Press release is next.
EVERYTHING IS LOOKING GOOD, SO FAR. AM ON SCHEDULE TO PRODUCE AN ALL-FLASH VERSION OF THE PORTFOLIO SECTION. PRESS RELEASE FORTHCOMING.
Well, the site is up but I have more troubleshooting than expected. Guess that goes hand-in-hand with using a new hosting service.
at last! I registered my domain and ordered hosting service tonight. www.aries-productions.com
